AMMO REFLEX V ENAMEL COAT is a durable ceramic coat with enhanced hydrophobic properties for an easy to clean show car finish. The enamel coat lasts 2-3 years, promotes immediate surface slickness, enhances color, paint depth, and gloss. Reflex V prioritizes an easy application and sweats once cured for an extremely smooth wipe off. Maintain Reflex V in-between applications with Reflex Pro Top Coat. INCLUDES 1 MF APPLICATOR. Use within 12 months of purchase. Formula must be used within 6 months after protective seal is cracked.

1. Wear latex gloves, eye protection, mask, and work in a well-ventilated area.

2. Prior to first coat application, wash and clay the paint if needed.

3. If needed, use isopropyl alcohol mixed 50-50 with water or an automotive grade wax and silicone remover to decontaminate surface.

4. Prime microfiber applicator and apply in overlapping motions in 2x2 sections. Paint should be cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight.

5. Allow 1-3 minutes dwell time (wait for the product to sweat/bead on the surface) in ideal low-humidity conditions. In a humid environment or over PPF, buff off directly after complete panel coverage.

6. Lightly remove excess with clean microfiber towels. Use first towel to level + lift residue and second towel for final wipe.

7. Use 1 full bottle per application.

8. Allow 12 hours cure time in warm weather, 16 hours in cold. No water for 6 hours (min) after application. No washing for 5 days.

Is Reflex V a ceramic coating?

How do I maintain Reflex V?

Maintenance is exactly the same as a non-coated car, however, abrasives will remove the coating. In other words, perform a healthy wash (when needed) with AMMO Foam or favorite car soap, dry with Hydrate, and use Reflex Pro Top Coat as often as you feel is required. The more layers of protetection (Reflex Top Coat, Skin, Creme, etc...) the more protected the "base layer" of Reflex V will be.

How long does Reflex V take to cure?

Depends on humidity and ambient temps, but 1 to 3 minutes is the average flash time. The product will sweat and bead on the surface when ready for the leveling buff off. In a hot humid environment, buff off directly after application. A full bottle is advised for one application and minimum curing time of 12 hours in a dry environment. Reflex V may take up to a week to fully set, do not wash for 5 days.

How do I prep the paint before applying Reflex V?

Thoroughly wash the paint and remove the contaminants with clay (if necessary). Polish to refine the finish if necessary as Reflex V will have extra depth and shine over "leveled" paint. Light 50:50 ISO wipes (spray on towel first) can be helpful if paint was recently waxed. Reflex V is best applied to a completely clean protection free paint surface. Apply out of direct sunlight and paint should be cool to the touch.

Can I use other paint care products (wax, sealant, spray wax, etc) after applying Reflex V?

Yes, other protectants can be layered once Reflex V has fully cured (at least a few weeks). Apply protectants after a wash and avoid adding too many layers of protection at one time. The top layer (most upper surface) will give the paint its water repellant characteristics. Hydrophobic or Hydrophilic. Reflex V can be maintained regularly with Reflex Top Coat and wax/sealant layers can be added routinely for additional protection.

Is Reflex V safe on matte paint or vinyl wraps?

Yes but matte finish may have a faster flash time so a small test area is advised. Begin the leveling buff off process immediately after panel coverage. Reflex V will bring more depth or "richness" to the paint color but it will not be "shiny" afterwards. I highly recommend it on matte paint or vinyl as it is really the only type of protection for those areas without causing a deep shine (therefore defeating the matte finish).
